Job Overview

As the Director of Online Travel Agency (OTA), you will be responsible for pricing strategy, sales planning, building policies, managing partnerships, and developing the OTA ecosystem in the Indian market. Reporting directly to the President and Senior Director (India), you will oversee business activities, sales performance, and operational excellence within the assigned region.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop pricing strategies and business policies aligned with KPIs and global tour guidelines.
  • Plan and execute B2B and B2C sales initiatives for the Indian market.
  • Design and implement strategies to foster collaborations with TO/TA partners and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to enhance product offerings.

Sales and Marketing

  • Coordinate with the Media and Marketing Department to plan and organize events and projects aimed at boosting sales.
  • Cultivate relationships with strategic partners, travel service providers, and application platforms.
  • Prepare and monitor sales plans (monthly, quarterly, and annually) and launch sales campaigns.

Hotel and Airlines Operations

  • Direct sales and manage customer care efforts, including building relationships with hotel and resort suppliers.
  • Facilitate API integration with domestic airlines on the Hahalolo system.
  • Identify new customers while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Respond promptly to orders and manage hotel status updates.
  • Train and guide team members on business strategies and system utilization.

Client Management

  • Address customer complaints about product and service quality and ensure quick resolutions.
  • Ensure achievement of assigned sales KPIs and overall customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a management role (Director/Manager) within the OTA industry in the Indian market.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the Indian market and OTA business operations.
  • Proficiency in English and Indian languages with excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the domestic and international hotel markets.
  • Expertise in sales strategies, presentation, and negotiation.
  • Proficient in office tools and system integrations (API connections).
