Online Tech Lead (Product Specialist)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Specialist to join our dynamic APAC team. As an Online Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new business, helping clients integrate with Saber APIs and other key products, and optimizing workflows to achieve both client and Saber business objectives.
This role involves leveraging your expertise in online technologies, best practices, and industry trends to provide guidance to clients and internal stakeholders. As part of the Business and Services team, you will support presales, implementation, and ongoing optimization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Saber Product Expert
- Act as the primary point of contact for Saber APIs and other relevant products.
Presales
- Analyze and document clients’ current processes, focusing on their business pain points.
- Develop solution architecture documents to address issues and identify opportunities.
- Showcase how Saber products can help clients achieve growth through technical workshops.
Implementation
- Provide training and technical consultancy to client product and technology teams.
- Ensure smooth transition and seamless integration with Saber solutions.
- Document workflows, mapping client processes to Saber APIs and products.
Optimization
- Maintain regular engagement with clients to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Advocate for Saber products and technology to build client loyalty.
- Represent client needs to Saber product teams, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
Team Collaboration
- Partner with Saber business leaders and account teams to foster client engagement and business pursuits.
- Contribute to regional team knowledge and expertise on Saber products and technology.
- Build relationships with Saber product teams to align roadmaps with client needs and goals.
Client Technical Manager
- Represent Saber technology to clients, maintaining strong relationships with client technology teams.
- Stay informed on clients’ current Saber integration and future plans.
- Regularly engage with clients through meetings, technology reviews, and Saber events.
- Serve as the voice of clients to Saber product and marketing teams by articulating project requirements and business cases.
Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the travel industry.
- In-depth understanding of travel agency workflows and operational standards.
- Strong knowledge of the global GDS industry, competitive landscape, and business trends is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with APIs is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end workflows of online travel agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to upsell solutions to clients.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and teams.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong client presentation skills to articulate solutions and business benefits.
- Ability to analyze, document, and optimize client workflows.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
