Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Sales Executive based in Delhi to sell international airfreight services, including cargo, express shipping, NFO, OBC, and air contract services. This role demands a successful track record in prospecting and selling airfreight and logistics services to small, medium, and large global clients. The primary responsibility will be the growth and development of the business across all product verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to generate leads and increase revenue.
  • Identify target clients and market segments for business development.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor actions.

• Sales and Negotiation:

  • Plan and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique selling propositions of the company's services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, time-critical logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth shipment execution and effective communication with clients.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and client interaction records in the CRM system.

• Networking and Promotion:

  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's services.
  • Manage sales-related expenses within the approved budget.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.

Required Skills and Experience

• Communication:

  • Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of Hindi is required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

• Sales Expertise:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong background in sales within the airfreight industry.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work under pressure.

• Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of airfreight industry services including cargo forwarding, express services, and air contract services.
  • Understanding of transport INCOTERMS, carrier security, restricted articles, HS codes, and DGR shipments.
  • Experience with international air routing, air ticketing, and freight handling.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, CRM systems, and other IT tools for data management and reporting.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the global airfreight industry (cargo forwarding, express shipping, or both).
• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.
• A valid passport for international travel.

Compensation

• Competitive salary, based on experience (₹55,000 - ₹75,000 per month).
• Annual bonus potential.
